About

Hello everyone and thank you for visiting the Messy Momma Blog. I am Samantha (but my friends call me Sam). I am married to my husband Mike who has been my friend since middle school, my high school sweetheart, and partner in crime for over ten years! I am a mother of two amazingly outgoing children who keep me busy. My daughter Brianna is a total free sprit; she loves to dance and twirl, get messy, play with he friends, and challenge me to be the best mom I can be. My son Michael is our wild one; from SON-UP-TO-SON-DOWN he is in constant motion, keeping everyone on their toes! He loves to run and wrestle, climb and jump, and he loves baseball, basketball, and football! He is all things boy.

The reason I decided to start this blog/vlog is because, in a world of social media, so many of us are using Facebook and Instagram to keep up with the “other mothers” who seem to have it all together! For the longest time I battled with my image is a person and as a mom. I always felt that I had something to prove but my transparency always made that difficult. I am honest to a fault; but I believe that being truthful and honest and who you are is what makes this world a beautiful, colorful, and exciting place.

I know that being a mom is one of the most difficult jobs on this earth, and with that comes these messy moments. But the messy moments we face are what changes us and challenges us to be the best moms we can be! So rather than tare one another down for facing a challenge, lets build each other up and embrace the mess.

I hope to get to know each and every one of you, to grow this community, and band together to laugh at the Messy Momma Moments, share a few tip and tricks to keep us going, and build one another up! We are raising the future and I would hate to raise my children in a world where you tear someone down rather than build them up!

I hope my transparency can bring you joy, tears of laughter, and help you find comfort in being content with yourself as a person, as a mother, and as a Messy Momma!
